Does effectly.ai require a WordPress plugin?
No. effectly.ai uses the WordPress REST API and Application Passwords, both built into WordPress core since version 5.6. No plugin to install, maintain, or worry about conflicts.
What happens to changes if I cancel effectly.ai?
Nothing. Every change is a native write to your WordPress database. Title tags, meta descriptions, schema markup — they all stay exactly as they are. This is the opposite of JS injection tools where changes vanish on cancellation.
Does effectly.ai need admin access to my WordPress site?
No. An Editor-level Application Password is all that's needed. effectly.ai cannot install plugins, change your theme, modify users, or access your wp-config.
Can effectly.ai write to WooCommerce product pages?
Yes. WooCommerce products are custom post types accessible via the REST API. effectly.ai writes product titles, descriptions, schema (Product, AggregateOffer), and meta tags.
How does the rollback work?
Before every write, effectly.ai snapshots the current value. If your rankings drop within 48 hours of a change, the system auto-reverts and notifies you. You can also manually revert any change with one click from the dashboard.
