Autonomous SEO for HubSpot CMS
HubSpot tells you what to fix. effectly.ai fixes it. HubSpot's built-in SEO recommendations are solid — but they generate a task list, not execution. effectly.ai connects to HubSpot's CMS API and writes the fixes directly: blog post meta tags, landing page schema, topic cluster optimization, and internal linking. The gap between HubSpot's recommendations and actual implementation — closed, nightly.

How it works
01
Connect CMS access
Authorize effectly.ai with HubSpot CMS API credentials scoped to the site, blog, and landing pages you want automated. This integration targets content and pages — not CRM records, deals, or sales workflows.
02
Ingest recommendations + audit reality
effectly.ai aligns with HubSpot's topic clusters and SEO signals where available, then verifies what is actually empty, thin, or misaligned in live pages — meta, schema, slugs, and internal links.
03
Batch writes with guardrails
Improvements ship as API writes to blogs, landing pages, and modules: meta fields, HubL-backed schema, redirects, and body content where your policy allows. High-impact changes can require approval; everything is diffable and rollback-friendly.
What effectly.ai writes
| Element | Example |
|---|---|
| Blog SEO | SEO titles and meta descriptions on blog posts |
| Landing pages | Meta tags and on-page fields exposed through the CMS |
| Topic clusters | Pillar and supporting page alignment — not just labels in the UI |
| Internal links | Link structure aligned to HubSpot topic clusters |
| Schema JSON-LD | Delivered via HubL modules or structured fields your theme supports |
| URLs & redirects | Slug updates with 301 coverage when URLs change |
| Blog body content | Heading structure, keyword placement, and readability — per policy |
| CTAs in context | CTA copy tuned within page and post content where you delegate it |
Recommendations are not execution
Your team already sees SEO opportunities inside HubSpot. The missing piece is the work queue: someone has to open every page, paste meta tags, wire schema, and align internal links to clusters. effectly.ai is the insight-to-action layer — the same gap PRODUCT.md describes for enterprise stacks, made concrete here: HubSpot surfaces priorities; effectly.ai writes verified changes through the CMS API on a schedule you control. No duplicate SEO tool — an execution engine on top of HubSpot's intelligence.
HubSpot's built-in SEO vs. effectly.ai + HubSpot
HubSpot's built-in SEO
- Great recommendations and topic cluster visualization
- Generates a task list — you still implement manually
- No automated meta tag writes across hundreds of pages
- Schema markup often needs custom HubL module work
effectly.ai + HubSpot
- HubSpot's intelligence + effectly.ai's execution
- Nightly batch writes across blog posts and landing pages
- Schema markup written into HubL modules — not left as a dev-only project
- Topic cluster internal linking enforced in content — not only suggested

Technical details
CMS API scope
Reads and writes go through HubSpot's CMS APIs for pages, blog posts, and related assets. This product does not sync with the CRM for contacts, deals, or sales automation — only CMS content and SEO execution.
HubL and templates
effectly.ai does not blindly overwrite theme source. Schema and structured data are written into fields, modules, or snippets your templates already expose. If a HubL change requires developer review, it is flagged before publish.
Marketing Hub vs CMS Hub
Capabilities depend on your HubSpot products and entitlements. effectly.ai maps available APIs to your subscription; unsupported operations fail closed with a clear message in the dashboard.
Privacy & GDPR
effectly.ai processes content and SEO fields needed for automation under your data processing terms. HubSpot remains the system of record; we recommend aligning DPA and subprocessor lists with your legal team for EU/UK requirements.
App Marketplace
The described integration uses direct CMS API access. A public App Marketplace listing is not required for this model, and we do not route you through a Marketplace storefront from this experience.
FAQ
Does effectly.ai replace HubSpot's SEO tools?
No. HubSpot still scores pages, shows clusters, and recommends fixes. effectly.ai executes those fixes — meta, schema, links, and content updates — via API so the backlog does not depend on manual copy-paste across hundreds of URLs.
We have Marketing Hub but not CMS Hub — does this work?
Execution depends on which HubSpot products expose the CMS APIs and content objects you need. During connection, effectly.ai validates what your account can read and write. If something is not licensed, we tell you before automation runs.
Will you modify our HubL templates?
Only where your implementation already uses modules or fields for SEO. effectly.ai prefers writing into existing module inputs rather than editing raw theme files. Structural template changes stay with your developers.
Is there a HubSpot App Marketplace app?
This integration is API-first. You do not need to install a Marketplace app from this page to use the described automation path.
How do you handle GDPR and customer data?
Automation focuses on public and CMS-stored content fields. Personal data in CRM is out of scope for this CMS integration. For EU/UK sites, align retention, lawful basis, and subprocessors with HubSpot's documentation and your counsel.
